Creating a great looking website and brand is your first step to building a great business online but once you have that in place you need to create a plan for getting people to your website.  Driving traffic to your site should be one of your main priorities if you want to grow a business online … but where do you start?  There are soooo many ways out there to drive traffic some work great and some don’t.

Here’s a quick list of my 11 favorite ways to drive targeted traffic to my website:

  • Twitter (Connect with top people in your industry and people interested in your niche, build a relationship with them, share your content with them daily)
  • Facebook (Build a relationship on a daily basis with your Fans and share your blog posts)
  • LinkedIn (Join targeted groups for your niche and share your blog posts with the groups)
  • Google + (Share your blog posts and other niche targeted content with your circles)
  • Stumble Upon (Create an account there and share your blog posts)
  • Article Marketing (Submit your articles to enzinearticles.com and use a service like SubmitYourArticle.com)
  • Guest Blogging (Check out this awesome list from Kim Roach on 500 + places to syndicate your content)
  • FB ads (Target your ads to your niche and drive them to your Fan page to build a relationship)
  • Forum Marketing (Share top quality information and use your signature line to drive them back to your website)
  • Video Marketing (Share your videos on your Youtube Channel and automate your video submissions with a service like Traffic Geyser)
  • Syndicate your blog content by registering and submitting content at sites like AllTop.com and Blokube.com

I would love to hear any of your traffic strategies that you use to drive traffic to your website … make sure to share them in the comments below!
