Have you heard of content curation and are you using if effectively in your business?
Did you know you are probably already doing this everyday in your social media? The key is to make sure you are doing it effectively to present yourself as a “Leader” and “Go To” person in your industry.
By definition “A content curator is a critical knowledge broker who seeks, collects and shares on a continuous base the most relevant content in her area of expertise.” as explained in this post at ILoveSEO.net.
Creating quality content and sharing it with your readers is one of the best things you can do to present yourself as an expert in your industry … another great way to increase that expertise is by sharing other expert’s content within your industry. That is where Content Curation comes in to play.
Your readers will see you as the “Go To” person for quality information in your industry … as long as you are solving a problem of the readers and giving them what they need … your readers will love you for it … whether you created all of the content yourself or you are sharing others. (Please remember to always credit where the content came from to give proper credit to the source)
To sum things up here is a great video recently posted by Mari Smith that I want to share with you as part of my content curation strategy for today. Hope you enjoy her great tips!
