Are you Blogging consistently?

Are you sharing your content with your social media channels daily?

What type of content are you sharing with your readers?

Do you  have a strategy when you create your content that focuses toward an end goal for the reader?

These are all the 1st type of questions I ask my new clients when we start our initial consultation for creating an online marketing strategy for their business.  They are the first steps to putting it all together to use content marketing for your business.  But there are a few other things to consider depending on the type of business you run … check out the infographic below for more details.

Content Marketing Strategies

Whether your business is service based or product based (or both like mine) Content Marketing is a big key to making your business profitable when marketing online.  When people search online their main goal is usually to find something they need or want and your content is the main way people are going to find you and learn more about you and what you have to offer.

Blogging and Social Media Marketing are the two main ways I get my content out to my market.  By creating a consistent combination of great content shared on your blog and then distributed through your social media channels you are creating a consistent stream of helpful information for your clients and potential customers to learn from you and gain trust.  The key to making it work for your business is to make sure to provide quality content that will benefit your target market.

Depending on what you have to offer there are some key differences on the best ways to present your content.  Check out this great infographic below that gives a ton of ideas for content and some great advice on which kind of content works best for different kinds of businesses.
