Easy Website Marketing Plan
If someone was to ask me what the most important business tool they needed to learn when starting an online business is — my number one answer would be Traffic Generation. You can have the greatest product or service in the world but if no one ever sees it it is worthless to you. Getting traffic to your website is how your product and services are exposed to your potential customer and it is the lifeline for any online business. So knowing how to get targeted traffic on a consistent basis to your business should be one of your main goals in your website marketing plan.
There are several ways to achieve targeted traffic but one of the key things that most people miss when focusing on traffic is consistency. There are so many different ways to drive traffic to your website that sometimes people get overwhelmed or distracted trying out every tactic and they never focus on one thing long enough to make a difference.
Here is a quick list of a few online business tools that you can use to drive traffic to your site.
- SEO
- Article Writing
- Press Releases
- Web 2.0
- Video Marketing
- Link Building
- Blog Posting
- Paid Advertising
- Bookmarking
- Affiliates
Those are just a few of the ways to drive traffic to your site. It’s no wonder people have a hard time staying consistent with their marketing — this is a lot of work and each marketing tactic should be done in a certain way to make a real difference — so if you aren’t knowledgeable in how all of these methods work — it is a lot to learn also.
I know how much work staying consistent with these marketing tactics can be and how much there is to learn when applying them correctly so that is why I created a solution.
The Easy Monthly Marketing Package
If you need some help with generating targeted traffic to your website on a consistent basis this is the package for you. It is an easy solution at a great price. Take a look at what is offered in this package and see if it is something that would be helpful to you and your business. Outsourcing is not for everyone but if you need more time to focus on other aspects of your business or you just need a little jump start to your marketing plan this might be just what you have been looking for.

Blogging as a marketing tool
Today I have a great treat for you. I want to share with you a link to some awesome videos teaching you how to create a blog from scratch and then also a link to a roadmap teaching you how to use that blog to market your business.
10 Easy To Follow Videos Showing You How To Create Your Blog From Scratch!
Blogging is a great way to get your business brand out there and when used correctly it can become a business all in itself. A great example of this is my blog that you are reading right now. I use the Marketing Momma Blog in several ways to market my business.
The first way I use it is to keep my readers informed of what is going on in my business by sharing marketing tools that I find helpful, business models that I follow, and marketing strategies that I teach and offer as services to my clients.
The second way I use my blog is by taking advantage of keyword useage to help drive new customers or clients to my products and services by focusing on my target market using proper keywords–so basically using SEO to market my business and services.
The third way I use my blog is by recommending products that I have found helpful in my own business that offer a commission for my recommendation if one of my readers decides to purchase that product from my affiliate link. I only recommend products that I have used myself and feel confident hold real value for your business – so receiving a commission is just a great perk for me on top of the value given to my clients.
All of these methods are easily accomplished from one simple wordpress blog and with the help of these videos and roadmap you too can start using blogging as an effective marketing strategy in your business. It is simplier than you think.
Take a look at the videos and read the roadmap–and then let me know if I can help you with your blogging strategies by coming back and commenting here once you have had a chance to take it all in.

Automate Your Marketing
Yay! I leave for a quick vacation tomorrow! Sorry —didn’t mean to seem so excited–but I just wanted to share that with you because I am really excited!
Lately I have been traveling alot more than normal (for work and fun)and that has brought up a good topic for us to discuss today.
Automate Your Marketing!
How do you continue your marketing efforts consistently for your business if your life and schedule aren’t always consistent? This is a challenge that I have had in the past few months and this is also one of great things about working online that some people don’t realize when they are first starting out. When you run a business online it is extremely important to stay consistent with your marketing efforts and that is why having a system for automation is so important. Here are a few tips for automating your marketing efforts that you may not have thought of.
- Schedule out your blog posts—a great way to stay consistent with your blogging is to take one day a week–or even one day a month and write a bunch of blog posts–then schedule them out every few days to be released at a certain time. This way you are keeping your content fresh on your blog, keeping in touch with your readers, and staying consistent with your SEO efforts–but you can accomplish this all at one time. (You can also do this with your email list and newsletter using aweber)
- Have your blog posts automatically sent to your Twitter account–this is an easy fix with a good wordpress plugin and whalah–you are updating your Twitter followers and your blog readers all at the same time and at a consistent rate.
- Hire a good outsource team — If keeping up with all of your marketing on your own consistently is not possible then you may want to think about outsourcing it. A lot of online businesses use outsourcing help as a small business marketing tool.

Learn from Other Successful Online Business
Hi everybody,
I just got done my interview with Kay Green from www.MyPreciousKid.com on my Blog Talk Radio show and let me tell you she gave some really great advice. When you get a chance listen in on the interview.
Kay has been in business online for over 8 years and she really shared alot today about her challenges and success in building that business.
She shared how she went from 3 orders a week to about 50 orders a day over a period of time by adding different marketing strategies into her business and staying consistent with the ones that work. If you could take just a little bit from her advice and apply it into your online business just think of the difference that could make to your bottom line.
I also came across a video today that I wanted to share with you on Lynn Terry’s blog–this video really struck a cord with me because it really summed up what it’s like to build a business online and to do it around your passion. As a woman in business myself building my business around my passion–(which is helping other moms learn to build a business online so they can work from home and have the awesome experience of raising their kids and bringing in an income with a successful business—wow that was a mouth full!!) this video was right on target. It really shows why I can’t recommend Lynn Terry’s Elite Group enough—this video just gives you a peek inside what Lynn’s forum has to offer–she really is a great mentor to follow.
Hope you have a great weekend!

Tips from an Experinced Online Store Owner
Hi guys! I just wanted to give you a heads up about the interview I will be conducting tomorrow with Kay Green the owner of www.MyPreciousKid.com on my BlogTalkRadio Show.
This interview is part of the series teaching how to start an online store and you won’t want to miss it.
Kay has had an online store since 2001 and has had some great success. I always love it when successful people are willing to share their tips and advice because I think we can all learn so much that way. They say the best way to become successful is to find someone already being successful at what you want to do and learn everything you can from them and then repeat it in your own way. Don’t try and reinvent the wheel–learn what works and then take action and use it.
So don’t forget to listen in tomorrow at 12:00 noon–she will be sharing some great advice on how to market your website and get some great exposure for your online business speaking from her experience of working online for 8 years.
So since we are on the subject of learning from great mentors–I also wanted to share with you another great place and person that I have learned a lot from recently. Her name is Lynn Terry and she is so generous with her knowledge and experience–I just recently joined Lynn Terry’s Elite Club and have honestly learned more in two weeks of being a member then I had all year. This membership is such a steal for what is offered there–I can’t rave about it enough. The forum is filled with other like-minded extremely helpful individuals and believe me you can’t go wrong–make sure you check it out if you want to learn as much as you can about building a business online and still stay on a reasonable budget while doing it.
Here is an interview with Lynn Terry and Nicole Dean that can give you some great insight about Lynn and what her knowledge is.
Have an awesome day!
Kate Wilber
